Terms for workshop

Workshop Agreement Notice

Please review thoroughly before booking a space.

This document outlines the agreement between the participant and Thomas Holm of Pixl ApS upon enrolling in a workshop or seminar. Booking a space signifies your acceptance of these terms.

Workshop Participation Guidelines:

• Arriving punctually and attending each segment will maximize your workshop experience. If you can't attend, notify us at hello@thomasholmphoto.com or via the provided contact numbers.
• No refunds are provided for absences or partial attendance due to tardiness.
• Unacceptable behavior, such as derogatory speech toward models or other participants, may result in expulsion from the workshop without a refund.
• Pixl ApS reserves the right to alter the venue or workshop structure if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
  Any changes will be promptly informed to attendees.

 

Payment and Cancellation Policies:

Cancellations made over four weeks before the workshop start date will receive a 50% refund of the deposit or total payment. Beyond this period, payments are non-refundable unless another participant fills your spot.

• Failure to complete incremental payment by the specified deadline may result in losing your workshop spot, barring prior arrangements.
• Payment issues during an incremental payment agreement must be resolved before the workshop.
• Pixl ApS may cancel a workshop before it begins, though this is rare. In such an event, you'll be notified immediately, and any payments will be refunded.
  Note that we do not cover travel or accommodation costs for canceled workshops.
• Workshops that use natural light will proceed regardless of weather, as they are designed to embrace various conditions. Refunds are issued only if weather conditions threaten equipment safety. No refunds for travel, accommodation, or non-attendance due to weather are available.

Image Usage and Confidentiality:

Images captured during the workshop are solely for portfolio purposes (websites, social media, portfolios) and not for commercial use.

• You acknowledge that using workshop images commercially without participant consent could lead to legal action. You agree to protect Pixl ApS against any legal claims arising from unauthorized commercial use of images.
• Unauthorized filming or recording during the workshop is prohibited. Violators will be expelled without a refund.

 

Liability Disclaimer:

Pixl ApS is not liable for personal injuries or property damage occurring at the workshop venue.

• Responsibility for personal belongings and equipment rests with the participant. We are not liable for any loss or damage.

 

Encouraged Practices:

• We advocate for quality over quantity in photography, urging participants to aim for one exceptional image rather than multiple average ones. 
• Respect for each photographer's space and direct interaction with the model is encouraged. 

Workshop conduct guidelines will be reviewed at the start, but adherence is the responsibility of each participant.
